Scenes and Routines, explained
Two words that sound alike and do different jobs. Once the difference clicks, the house starts running itself.
The difference, in one line each
A Scene is a moment you trigger. “Movie,” “Dinner,” “Goodnight.” Tap it and the room settles into that mood at once. Nothing happens until you ask.
A Routine is a Scene on a schedule. The same set of changes, but tied to a time, sunset, or something the house senses. Set it once, and it runs without you.

Build a Scene
Set the room the way you like it, then Save as Scene and name it. That snapshot is now one tap away for everyone.

Turn it into a Routine
Open the Scene, tap Automate, and choose when: a clock time, sunrise or sunset, or “when the last person leaves.” Done.
